The Inside Story

In my creative work, I endeavor to recognize, explore and elicit the commonalities of the human experience. One of the greatest compliments I can receive from someone who has listened to a song or read one of my pieces is, “How did you know my story?!”

The medium is almost always secondary to the message. Whether writing for page and stage, design, music, or mixed media, my art shares a common conceptual process. Sure, I might be using a paintbrush and palette as opposed to a key signature and orchestration, but the intention is always the same: to give light to our share experiences in hopes we’ll all be just a little less alone.
