Sound and Motion

I’ve forever been in love with storytelling, especially with a camera. In high school, I checked out the school’s vintage Bell & Howell and began to play. Of course, at that time, you needed to buy Super 8 film and so I financed my purchases by collecting soda bottles and returning them to the nearby Kroger. The film store was just a block away!

My graduate class at USC’s School of Cinema-Television was the last to use Super 8 film, thank goodness. And although I worked early on in broadcast media, my technology career took me away from the production studio and onto the desktop. Still, I’ve tried to integrate my love of filmmaking with my role as a school parent volunteer and used my production skills to benefit my community at fundraisers.
