Finding a New Home

It took 5-½ months to find our next Worldwide Headquarters, a process that was needlessly exhausting to say the least. This is because the way office space is leased and shown is stuck in the 20th century.

The typical broker to broker model remains. As such, tremendous time is wasted and meaning is often lost through the chain of communication.

Who lives in the house that Jack built.

As someone who has made her living in the fast-paced high tech industry, this is hard to fathom, must less endure.

The commercial real estate deal flow is ripe for deal flow innovation/renovation. Let’s start with virtual walkthroughs, so time isn’t wasted going from building to building. Add to that automation for tenant/landlord financial vetting and throw in some direct communication. Throw in some direct communication and a little good faith and there’d be a lot less empty space sitting idle while waiting for the antiquated chain of communication to unfold over and over again.
