“Rough In” Tumble

This past week marks the conclusion of the “rough in” work for our new office. This means, all the framing, rough wiring, rough ducting and rough plumbing is complete.

In addition, we’ve smoothed out the concrete floor and Todor has left his mark over the past two weekends by organizing and re-routing the low-voltage wiring.

Now we await our permit, so we can get a “rough-in” inspection and continue with drywall, ceiling, etc. We expect this in the new few days Also, you can see below that the ceiling has been cleaned up substantially. This is no easy feat, as ducting, wiring, etc. has to be rerouted and/or converted to a more aesthetically acceptable form.

By exposing this ceiling, we’ve added a lot more volume to the space, which translates into a feeling of openness and light.
